Thank you, Gracias, Merci, Danke, Dhanyavaad!
We do not have words to express the overwhelming response and encouragement we have received over the past three years since launching Baked in Heaven.
When we started thinking about creating custom cakes, the only assets we had were a great friendship, some home-grown skills, and support from our spouses and friends. Three years and many loyal customers, Facebook fans and Pinterest pins later, we cannot believe how fortunate we have been to be on the receiving end of so much love and encouragement from all over the world (literally).
We have now come to a point where we have to pause, take a deep breath and reevaluate our family commitments - stopping to smell the roses along the way if you will. Therefore, we are taking a short break from mixing cake batter, whipping up frosting and kneading fondant in order to spend more time with our family and friends. What this means is that we will not be accepting any new orders until further notice, and we apologize for any inconveniences this may cause to our customers.
We have pictures of the cakes that we worked on in the past which we didn't get a chance to post yet, so this blog will still be semi-active and we will post those pictures as often as we can. We hope that you will continue to show us your love and support.
