Ready for the BIG NEWS?!? We’ve got our Tula Bloomers Kits up on the website ready to get them into your hot hands :) First off let me say a big thank you to Kathi Shunn who came up with this combination and stitched it up super fast. This kit has 83 different Tula prints with the focus on Linework!!!!! But don’t let that scare you, it really is an easy pattern to EPP. The pieces are larger than most and it is not complicated. I think the brilliance comes with how Kathi arranged the colors. There is plenty of fabric to fussy cut all the detailed prints that we know and love from Tula. But the connector pieces are easy because they aren’t fussy cut. I think this is what makes for a faster quilt finish. You get the best of both worlds and this quilt is loaded with visual impact. You can get it with just the fabric too if you already have the papers and templates.

It is right on our home page of our website so you can’t miss it. Link in the profile.

Added extra: There is an interesting interview with Kathi there too so have a look and show her some love. Please have a look at her IG feed and be amazing by her talent. You should see the Tula quilt she’s working on now

Are you a brave quilter? My friend Linda sure is! Brave and accommodating to say the least. The first photo is her finished which is artfully scrappy using all different prints. Perfectly balanced and cheery. Swipe left and see what it looked like before………….. She gifted this to a friend but that good friend didn’t like purple so she cut off the border!!! I think that is so courageous don’t you, just to please the recipient. I love it both ways and I’m not sure I would have the guts to do it myself but I applaud her for doing so. Would yo be able to do that?
Congrats on the finish!!!!!

We moved our Quilters Spotlight interview to the front page of our website so you can find it easier.
In this interview, we speak with Alice Ikenberry, a quilter from Washington State known for her intricate hand work and fondness for fussy cutting which is on full display on her Instagram
Show Alice some love
You can read more about Alice and how she became such an amazing quilter. I find it so interesting to learn where we as makers begin and discover our craft.
We also have the kits made up so you can buy her featured quilt made with Tula Pink Homemade. Just click the link in my profile .

Call me a tease but........
I think I may have found your next project!

We are making up kits for Tula Pink’s Bloomers EPP quilt using Linework and True Colors. It’s the perfect pattern for Linewrok with the bigger pieces! We have been pretty lucky to have Kathi Shunn design and put the colors together. Her quilt is currently being quilted and I can’t wait to show you more photos. You’ll be able to make one just like Kathi’s 👍 But for now you can marvel at the wonderful display of color:)
More details to follow. You can email me if you want to get on the list.

has a treat for you. I think this is a brilliant way to arrange the blocks with a fading gradation. The grey background is a wonderful setting for the blocks don’t you agree?

Happy !!!
I need to show you what Teresa did with her pollinate……. What a clever reversal to what most of us have done. Low volume in the rosettes and color in the background. I would have never thought of that. I love it so much!!!! Those blues though
