I am deeply saddened right now. I've heard that a good friend of mine and especially of my wifes family most notably her father, this friend who owned a dive liquor store bar has died in August of some lung ailment Mr kaitani (Kai-san) the owner of (up the kai bar) an awesome Dive Bar literally with a underground area where older Japanese men would go and have small plates of food and drink and on the ground floor was the liquor store and the upstairs from that was a seating area where on Sunday nights some local friends and Kai-san would get together and put together a little band and do their version of karaoke and sing on their own (they loved Beatles songs) I even sang once with them singing a Beatles song when my wife and I were there in 2020 in Osaka Japan. RIP Kai-san I, aswell as many many others from around the world will miss you very dearly!.
