Dignowity Kolaches is a family owned bakery nestled in the Historic Dignowity Hill neighborhood on 1629 East Houston Street, just minutes from downtown San Antonio and the AT&T center. This 1930 era building was originally built as a Texaco Gas Station. The interior has been newly remodeled for the bakery, yet the exterior still holds it's original charm. The Dignowity Kolaches' name reflects the Czech heritage brought by Dr. Anthony Dignowity a Czech immigrant who first established the now historic neighborhood in the 1800's.
