Layer of the Week!

“Sandy”

Sandy is the friendliest chicken in our flock. She was one of our first layers and consistently lays a small, light brown egg. Sandy is the first chicken out of the coop in the morning and the hen most likely to be found where she isn’t really wanted; in the garden, under the car, on the porch, etc.

Still, Sandy flatters us by REALLY liking us, so she’s the recipient of this week’s Layer of the Week Award! Extra mealworms for Sandy!
