Keep Small Businesses Alive

Keep Small Businesses Alive This page is for small businesses and the public affected by the current situation in the world.

Businesses were shutdown so we want to give them a place to offer/sell their services and a page for buyers to buy local food, products and services!

Thank you Elder Eats KSAT 12 for setting up an interview with me today.

I’m usually the photographer behind the camera and not in front of it, I just keep in mind that it’s not about me but my mission to gain more exposure for small businesses.

Thanks everyone and please remember to eat local and shop small! 🙏❤️

🚨San Antonio, TX🚨

I am starting a new series of restaurant features in the San Antonio area. This project will focus on businesses in the food industry that are currently struggling and haven't fully recovered because of the pandemic.

I will be here for a short time and wanted to pay it forward in the San Antonio area. My availability is VERY limited and will only be featuring at most 20 restaurants. I already have a few booked on my first day here! The establishment will be receiving photos valued at $1200 for FREE. Yes, free! The photos can be used for any of their advertisement purposes to include a feature on my page. The exposure for these struggling establishments is what they need!

I am not yet ready to take on paying clients as the food industry is still struggling and I want to keep inspiring others to continue to when you can. I will be for hire when we return to a norm where we're no longer labeled to be in a pandemic. In the meantime, I'm fighting for the livelihood of people who aren't as fortunate as some of us.

Stay tuned for my wonderful adventure of amazing food, people, and stories of the people of San Antonio! 🙏❤

Please share so any S.A. friends can see this, tag any S.A. friends, and most importantly, and/or tag a San Antonio restaurant that needs our help! If you are a restaurant owner, message me directly on Okie Dokie Foodie.

Many of you have asked me, “What do you do with all of that extra food?”

I give it away. After every single shoot, I always try to find the needy to give all of this amazing food to because I know many of them have not had a nice meal like this in a long time. He almost broke down crying and seeing that and the love for his dog motivated me to continue to do what I do.

I don’t like to document stuff like this, but I hope I can inspire you to give, pay it forward, or to be kind to someone today. Look outside of the scope of your own life and open your eyes to people who could use the extra hand or smile. That’s my mission - to help people during this pandemic and throughout life during my short time on Earth.

If you’d like to make a donation to this man and his dog, I can take Venmo/cashapp and give it to him directly next time I see him!
