Update on food dyes. I am all for healthier options! These new changes will impact cookies for sure. I am excited to swap out pretty for healthier and pretty food dyes. The story of dohappieZ

Hi friends! My name is Anna. So glad you found me here. My ambition is to provide gluten free cookies, that taste like the best sugar cookie ever. Trying to buy separate food for both gluten-loving and gluten-free people is a hassle.

My gluten-free journey.... Due to genetic health concerns (or you could say family health issues), I have spent most of my years investing in my physical, mental, and spiritual health. My approach has always began with love and food. And love for food. My journey with food has taught me how to transform recipes for dietary restrictions into delicious food, so my gluten-eating family and I can enjoy the same meals. We LOVE good food! If it tastes like ā€œmessā€, weā€™d rather not have it. I love a good recipe challenge and my husband, three girls, and their discerning pallets LOVE to be food testers.

How dohappieZ began.... I decided a few years ago to do happy things for myself and others for no reason but to claim joy. It is liberating to cultivate the act of praying for others and loving well. Eventually my personal mission to do happy things evolved into dohappieZ, with the Z being a tribute to my maiden name, Zeder.

In 2019 I searched for someone who could provide gluten-free, iced sugar cookies for an event I had planned. My search came up empty and I accepted my next challenge and made them myself. My girls and I experimented together as we were making Christmas cookies and WE DID IT! The first time they tried my sugar cookie recipe, they couldnā€™t believe it was gluten free and exclaimed
