Ashley never intended to start a business.

She was a stay-at-home mom who started experimenting with brown butter cookies because she wanted cleaner ingredients for her family.

Her husband kept telling her she should sell them. She resisted for a while, she didn't see herself as a baker, but she finally gave in, started giving cookies away to friends and family, and the feedback was so good that she decided to launch a business.

A year and a half later, she's running The Brown Butter Bash from her home kitchen, alongside a toddler.

What's really fascinating about Ashley's story is that she completely skipped the jumbo cookie trend and still grew fast, through marketing, packaging, and networking.
