It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of The Sweet Escape. We have struggled with this decision over the last couple of months, but have decided it is what is best for our family. We are so thankful for everyone who has come to us to fulfill their baking needs. Whether it was for an everyday need or to mark your special occasion; we close with a feeling of happiness knowing that we were able to provide you with a sweet escape. We have been truly blessed by those whom we have been able to serve and have truly appreciated your support throughout the 4 years of this wonderful adventure. We, of course, are honoring any orders that we have already accepted, but will no longer accept new orders. As we enjoy having more time together as a family, we wish you and your family the best!

We were happy to create this cupcake cake for a recent wedding shower. Here we've placed vanilla cupcakes into the shape of a wedding gown, iced them in vanilla buttercream rosettes, and then accented the cake with ribbon and flowers to match the brides colors and some edible beading along the top of the bodice!
