Get Some Bread This Friday!

First off, thank you to all who have asked about and for my bread since we transformed EMI into a full service restaurant! As much as I loved baking fresh loaves each week, balancing being a full time mom/homeschooling the kids and helping launch the restaurant has made that too challenging for now. That said, whenever I whip up a batch, I’ll be sure to spread the word so you can grab some. Your continued support means the world!

That being said ... Exciting news!

This Friday, August 22nd, I’ll have 30 loaves available for pre-order, ready for pickup at EMI Ristorante between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Just head to the front door of EMI, where your order will be waiting right inside on a bread rack.

Note: We’ll be hosting a private event during pickup, so you’ll see a “closed” sign, but don’t worry—the door will be unlocked for bread pickups. Can’t wait to share these loaves with you!

Fresh organic sourdough is BACK!

After a bit of a break, I'm thrilled to bring you some organic sourdough loaves again! Don't miss your chance to grab one (or a few) THIS SATURDAY, May 10th, from 11 AM to 12 PM.

Pickup Location: The little black building next to EMI Ristorante at 2217 Frederick Ave.

Order Deadline: Please reserve your loaves by THURSDAY, May 8th, at 10 AM so I can plan the bake.

I’m working on a more regular baking schedule, but for now, these loaves are a rare treat—secure yours while they’re available!

As we approach the holiday season, I want to let you know that December 13th & 14th are your last chances to order bread before we take a break for the holidays. We will be closing for the last two weekends in December.

It’s been a joy to bake for you, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you. Wishing you all a merry Christmas filled with warmth, joy, and of course, plenty of delicious bread!

Just wanted to let everyone know that ordering is live for this weekends' bread! I don't get an email reminder sent out every week but just know, there is still bread available every week for pickup on Friday & Saturday :)

EMI Ristorante

Also wanted to let you all know that our much requested lasagna main course is BACK for the next two weekends at EMI so reserve yourself a spot and enjoy a delicious meal before grabbing your bread for the week :)

The menu will include:

Starter: A beautiful mixed greens salad
Main: Our crowd favorite & much requested lasagna
Dessert: A delicious and festive pumpkin cheesecake with a dollop of whipped cream & drizzle of caramel sauce
And as always, dinner is served with some sourdough bread.

Just wanted to send an update out letting you all know that we are back from Italy and bread is back this weekend, November 1st and 2nd!!

Stock Up Now!

Just wanted to send everyone a little bread update ...

This upcoming weekend (September 20th/21st) will be the last bread pickup opportunity until the end of October as we will be in Italy for four weeks.

Just a friendly reminder that sourdough bread freezes great in freezer bags so stock up if you'd like!
From a whole frozen loaf, you can let it thaw and then follow my refresh in (https://www.lesleyborgerbread.com/after-purchase) structions to get it back to delicious, warm fresh tasting crispy crusted bread. And from slices, you can simply take out slices as needed, pop them in the toaster (or just let them thaw) and use them as desired.

Once we return, I'll send out another email with the next available pickup dates.
