Here is the June Menu coming in hot!!🥵 ☀️

I had wayyyyy too many wonderful rhubarb goodies that I wanted to make so I decided to spread out my rhubarb items over the next 3 months!! Look for a variety of new rhubarb recipes coming your way!! 🥳

Also since last week was a little busy for me I will still honor my May menu if you saw something on there that you wanted to order.

My typical bake days are Thursday and Friday but if you want your treats on a different day please let me know and we can figure out a day that works for you! 😊

Sorry for the lack of posting this past week my boys had their last couple days of school and a few days start to their summer so it has been busy!

I finally got my small garden planted and my flowers all potted this week 🍅🌱💐

I am very excited for summer and I have a bunch of delicious rhubarb goodies on the menu for summer! If you haven’t had rhubarb it’s a tart tasting stalk that is chopped up and cooked with sugar to tame the flavor. This vegetable (stalk like celery) is often cooked as a fruit…. Such as pies, muffins, breads and other desserts!

Rhubarb always makes me think of summer!! 😁❤️☀️

Happy Friday!!! 🥳🥳

You know what that means another week of baking! 🥰

This week I made a few different things….

I had an order for sourdough carrot cake 🥕 (the order was to be shared at a work event and I know who the favorite coworker will be 😜) and lemon bars🍋 (these turned out perfect 😍).

I also made sourdough cake donuts with powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar for my son’s teachers to go in their end of the school year gift. 🍩

I baked a pan of sourdough cinnamon rolls for the office staff at my sons school as a little thank you for all they do for the school! 🥳💛💚(They definitely were excited for a Friday morning surprise! 🤩)

And this last bake was not sourdough but it’s a recipe I hold close to my heart ♥️….. my grandma’s famous rhubarb bars! These bars were served by my grandmother at many family gatherings and I was so proud the first time I made them for her and got her stamp of approval! 🥰 Every time I make them I feel her smile down at me from Heaven.🕊️
(I made two pans… one to share with my family and one to share with friends 😜)

Can you believe that in a week and a half it will be June already?!

The last month of school always seems to fly by with a bunch of different events, field trips and of course all those spring home projects we decide to do.

My kiddos are definitely ready for summer! Sunshine ☀️ and endless days outside. 🥳

Happy Friday!!! 🥳🥳

It’s been a busy but wonderful week!! Between end of the school year activities for the kids, PTA wrap up, finishing up our living room & kitchen updates and baking it had been hectic but also fun!! 🤩

I had many great bakes this week and have already gotten raving reviews from them!! 🥰 I love hearing about what people think of my goodies and seeing the joy people get from enjoying my baked goods! It warms my heart!! ♥️

I got a last minute order for a carrot 🥕 cake for the Murphy family and of course I had to make it special!! 😁 This is for sure their 2nd if not 3rd order of the carrot cake so if you want to know if it tastes good just ask them! 😜

Yesterday I baked a fresh basket of goodies for this wonderful organizations silent auction/ bowling event tonight. If you don’t know what Junior Achievement is listen to the link! 🔗 it’s an amazing organization who are giving kids opportunities to learn about the real world and I definitely support the work they are doing!! ❤️

Happy Wednesday!! 🥳

This morning these yummy goodies went out to a new mama who has been patiently waiting to try my Raspberry lemon rolls and she of course had to get a loaf of sourdough bread for her husband. 😉❤️

Enjoy momma! You truly deserve a delicious treat for all you do for kiddos and your new baby! 💕

The 2nd pan of rolls are also for a special mama as a late Mother’s Day gift. 💝 She celebrated her first Mother’s Day with her babies 👶🏻 👶🏻 this weekend. ❤️🥰
