There are many variations to basbousa dessert, but rose water flavor is undoubtedly my fav! The sweet and floral aroma adds a full sensory experience to this traditional Egyptian dessert. 🌹 Those of you who have never tried basbousa, it is made with a batter of semolina and coconut and then soaked in sugar syrup flavored with rose water. 😋
