Had some more fun today. Made for the first time home made cream horns. A favorite of mine. Very happy with first attempt. Have a few tweaks to make but nothing too serious. Chris approved. Will be sharing this weekend with friends for their opinions.

A old time favorite for myself. Bread pudding with raisins. Yummm. This one I have some cinnamon bread and used it along with wheat bread. I'm enjoying it small bites at a time.

Gingerbread Oatmeal Cream Pies 🍪🎄

Ingredients
For the Gingerbread Oatmeal Cookies:
• 1⅓ cups all-purpose flour
• 1½ teaspoons ground ginger
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
• ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
• ¾ cup packed dark brown sugar
• ½ cup granulated sugar

Surprised my hubby when he got home with warm baked apple cider donuts. They are a major hit. So easy and simple.
A funny story I thought of the whole time I made them was every time he saw my mother he would ask her where his cider donuts were. She would tell him in the store. If any of you knew my mother she fried and made wonderful homemade donuts all my life. Chris had them and enjoyed them. These have passed his quality control. Definitely will make again
