🐾 There’s a LOT more that goes into making dog treats than you may think! 🐾
When you purchase from Coco’s Treats, you’re not just getting a homemade treat. There has been A LOT of time, research, testing, and care put into making sure every treat we make is something I feel comfortable giving to my own dogs. ❤️🐶
Before creating and selling our treats, I spent months researching dog safe ingredients and developing recipes that were not only tasty, but also made with limited, simple ingredients. I researched different ingredients, tested recipes over and over, and put a lot of thought into making sure our treats were made with quality in mind.
I also spent countless hours researching and finding reliable places to source the meats we use for our dehydrated treats. I wanted to make sure I knew where our ingredients were coming from and that I was getting quality products for your pups. 🥩🐔
There is also a lot that goes on behind the scenes when it comes to testing, food safety, proper handling, preparation, packaging, and labeling. I took the time to learn what was required and make sure I was taking the proper steps before putting my treats out there for other people’s dogs to enjoy.
Even our packaging and labels were something I didn’t just throw together. I researched different options to find a label maker and packaging that would allow me to properly present and protect our products while still keeping them cute and true to the Coco’s Treats brand. 🎀
And perhaps the biggest reason quality and consistency matter so much to me is because I have 5 dogs of my own. Every single one of them has their own allergies and dietary sensitivities, and I know firsthand how frustrating it can be trying to find treats that your dog can enjoy without worrying about them getting sick afterward.
That is exactly the kind of care I want to put into Coco’s Treats. ❤️
I don’t want to simply make a treat that looks cute or smells good. I want to know what is in it, where my ingredients come from, how it was made, and that I am providing something I would proudly give to my own pups.
Every recipe, every ingredient, every package, and every order is handled with that same mindset.
Because to me, these aren’t just treats. They’re treats for someone’s baby. 🐾❤️
