HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO BO’S BREADS!!! 🎉🥳🎊
Reflecting on the past year at Bo’s… I cannot believe I’m even saying that!
I had a lady ask me the other day, “did you ever think that it would be like this?” I was honestly a bit shocked because I’m just a little baker - but I’ll tell you, a little baker goes a long way with a big God. I feel like the Bo’s story is similar to when Jesus turns the two fish and 5 loaves into feeding the five thousand. When I was starting out, all I had were a couple of loaves of bread and a hope that someone else might find some comfort and joy in that. Never knowing what it could end up as or where God would lead. But He knew!
For me, the best part about baking isn’t about the work, the sales, the social media, the packaging, or the frills. It’s about doing something with such a passion that it leaves your cup overflowing. It’s about trying new things. It’s about taking risks. It’s about someone tasting a new flavor that I’ve been working on and without knowing their story, it ends up taking them back to when they were a child in their grandmother‘s kitchen- a place they haven’t been in so long, but their heart has ached to be.
Bo’s Breads is about you. And it’s about your friends - and it’s about your neighbors- and it’s about their neighbors - and it’s about your families, near and far. It’s about trusting God with your dreams.
So a ‘thank you’ doesn’t even cover it- the gratitude in my heart for all that you guys have done showing up for Bo’s. For my family helping me in every way possible to make Bo’s happen. For the love that the Ziggy’s Home Market family has shown. For the support the community has poured out week after week. For all the new friendships and connections made, from the bottom of my heart, thank y’all. ❤️
Here’s to the past year, here’s to the future, and seeing where God leads us next! 🤍
