Here is our recipe for our 5lbs masa that we provide at our local grocery stores👨🏻🍳👩🏻🍳
• 1 1/2 pounds lard (you may add broth from your meat to give it more flavor)
• 3 teaspoons baking powder
• salt to taste
• steam your tamales for 45 minutes to an hour
Enjoy making tamales for the holidays!🎄

You know what’s cool? You don’t have to be Beyonce, or have a record deal, or be known all over the world, for you to have your own brand of food, clothing line, jewelry, clothing, or ANYTHING you can dream up.
So many people always go, “One day when I’m famous I’m going to do (Insert dream here)….”. But the truth is, YOU CAN DO IT NOW. I started this company when I literally had nothing. I borrowed money to get my first tortilla bags printed, and then went door to door selling my music to pay for the rest. I sold these bags of chips to tiny little gas stations, and delivered the salsas in 115 degree heat by myself.
If you have a dream, you can make it happen if you really want to. There’s no one holding you back. WE ALL have obstacles we have to overcome, but it’s up to you to decide whether you are going to take responsibility for your life.
There’s this saying I love that says, “Make history. Or Make Excuses. It’s your choice”. So you can be that person that says, “I can’t do that because of this” or you can be that person that says, “Even though I have these obstacles, this is part of my story, and this is what makes me stronger and more equipped to be successful.”
You can’t build muscle if you don’t get sore and work yourself to the max. It’s the same in life. If you don’t have challenges, you can’t grow to become better and acquire the skill sets it takes to be your best.
Thank you to everyone who buys my brand of chips & salsas. We just hit 150,000 products sold in New Mexico alone and I think that’s pretty awesome! I’m excited to be adding some new products this year that I know you’re all going to be love and am looking at bringing it to more of the Southwest soon! Until then, THANK YOU for supporting & I hope your families enjoy these tortilla chips as much as our family loves creating them.

Intended as friendly, constructive input for El Charro...did you recently change your tostada oil to soy oil? I notice a decline in taste and quality. The spices don't stick to the chips like they used to. The chips seem drier or more stale. Love your products, just sayin'...

Yesterday was my last day being 26😔. Today, the 11th of December I am 27 years old👴🏽. I was born in the pouring rain 🌧 outside a hospital because my parents didn’t make it in. Life is beautiful. Tomorrow I will be serving 10 years in the military as well. Crazy how time flies. I joined at 17, a junior in high school. I still don’t have any children👶🏽 of my own which tells me that when I do have kids, I’m going to be an ol’ man👴🏽. I also decided that I needed a new profile picture because mine is super old like almost two years now. I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time out of their day to wish me a happy Birthday 🎂 . For those of you who didn’t, just remember fu*k you jk because I make sure to tell everyone happy birthday on their timeline lol(if I’m not blocked for showing my 🍑). I also would like to thank everyone who follows me. It means a lot to me. 2017 has been an unforgettable year and I like to thank God for blessing me with another year of life. I’m eager to see what 2018 has in store for me. Make sure you buy my tortillas as well and yes that little boy in the middle is me. When I was teaching first grade at Pecos, every year we would walk over to El Charro. La Sra. Trujillo would talk to the kids and give them a tour. In the back, we watched the corn tortillas coming off the line. She would have a tub of butter and the kids got to eat all the fresh, hot corn tortillas they wanted. She also had Kool Aid for them. She and her husband were community treasures. (As are Mireya and Michael)
