These are my best-selling sourdough cookie, and for good reason! Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes 12 cookies
Don’t forget to save this recipe for later and follow along for more sourdough!

Ingredients:
160g AP Flour
2g Baking Powder
2g Baking Soda
4g Salt
114g Butter, at room temp
155g Brown Sugar
1t Vanilla Extract
140g Sourdough Discard
80g Chocolate Chips
Fleur de Sel sea salt for topping

Whisk together dry ingredients in a mixing bowl (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt) Set aside
Cream together butter and sugar in another bowl
Then, mix in vanilla extract and sourdough discard to butter mixture
Now, mix in dry ingredients
Finally, fold in chocolate chips

Bake in a preheated oven
350°F for 12 minutes
Top with fleur de sel
Cool thoroughly before enjoying!

Sourdough cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing are really a classic and perfect treat. From start to finish, they take 3-4 days, and are 100% worth the wait! My chives are once again in full bloom and the taste is just… better than ever! 😋 The best feeling is grabbing something fresh from the garden and turning it into something delicious. My husband always asks me why I like gardening so much and… it’s just hard to explain! Okay but in reality, gardening does have some actual health benefits! Lifting 40lb bags of mulch, shoveling compost and digging holes, getting adequate sunshine (but never a sunburn!!), spending time outdoors and NOT in front of a screen, getting fresh air, watching plants I started as seeds flourish and in return give me and my family the freshest and most delicious food… Everyone should have a small garden, even if it’s just on your terrace, or an indoor hydroponic garden. If you have more room, grow more! Grow what you eat and what you enjoy. Grow varieties you can’t find at the grocery store. My cilantro is starting to bolt so I’m finding creative ways to use it up, like this And I’ll let it go to flower for the bees 🐝
