With Memorial Day approaching, we are reminded that each fold of a flag holds meaning. The final fold however, the one right before the flag is cradled and handed to a grieving family, says what words cannot.

We pause in silence for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We honor their memory, their families, and the weight of every fold that tells their story.

We will never forget.

With three weeks left in the school year I somehow managed 7 loaves of bread, 5 dozen scones, 7 bags of pancake mix (+ new product launch), and a batch of cookies even on a Saturday pickup! 🤪

One of the main reasons I gave this bakery a go was because of the amount of people out there who kept telling me, “I wish I could try making sourdough, I just can’t figure out where I’d find the time...” Most of those folks being busy mamas just trying to slay life with all that’s already on their plates. And I get it - some days life is just purely bananas 🍌🍌🍌 So I’ll go ahead and put the sourdough on your plate for ya!

This one’s for the mamas, fur mamas, aunties, Grammies, God-mamas, mamas hurting, mamas hoping…I hope you each get the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful weekend with family + friends - hopefully with a cup of coffee and delicious slice of fresh bread or sweet treat and your feet up at some point! 🫧🍞🫶🤍 Thank you for supporting this little microbakery.
