We’ve had the privilege of creating cakes for some pretty big milestones for this family — Sweet Sixteens, 21st birthdays, and now, a 50th worth going ALL OUT for.

And they absolutely did.

This celebration was fully catered, surrounded by gorgeous displays, and filled with friends and family who came together to celebrate someone they love.

For our part? We were given a color scheme and essentially told, we trust you.

No inspiration photo. No specific design. Just a whole lotta creative freedom.

So we created a completely custom cake and coordinating cupcake spread — ch*****ne, bubbles, gold, and plenty of sparkle for a celebration this big. ✨

This is one of our FAVORITE ways to work. Give us the feeling you want, the colors you love, and permission to create something that belongs entirely to your celebration.

Don’t underestimate the simple ones.

These cupcakes may look simple, but there’s a LOT going on inside.

Biscoff cake layered with creamy Biscoff filling, white chocolate ganache, and white chocolate buttercream — then finished with a Biscoff cookie on top.

Soft. Creamy. A little crunchy. Rich without being too much.

Basically, the kind of cupcake that melts in your mouth and makes your eyes roll back a little. 😂

12 years ago, cake was just a tiny part of our wedding day. We had no idea how much of our life would eventually revolve around it. 🤍

These photos are blurry, the quality is questionable (2014 phone cameras really did us dirty 😂), and the cake itself wasn’t particularly meaningful to us at the time.

We didn’t make it.
We didn’t choose the design.
We didn’t even choose the flavors—my dad did. 😂

And after cutting into our three-tier wedding cake for the photos… we didn’t even eat it. We sliced into a berry cheesecake instead.

But I still love these pictures.

Because that cake—simple as it was—sat in the middle of one of the most important days of our lives. And now, 12 years later, I get to make cakes that sit in the middle of days like this for other people.

There’s something really beautiful about that.

Someday, I want to recreate our wedding cake for an anniversary. Same idea, same little piece of our story… just with 12+ years of cake experience behind it this time. 😉

This one was worth every single design hour. 🤍

This barnyard cake was created for a mama-to-be with an incredible pregnancy story. Against the odds, she had made it to the end of her pregnancy—and that called for a BIG celebration.

Every little detail was created to celebrate her, her growing family, and the baby they were so excited to finally meet.

And when they saw it? They loved it.

Which, of course, made me love it even more.

I think I’m allowed to call this one a little masterpiece. 🥹 . . . .

Some cakes carry a little more meaning than you can see at first glance. 🥹

This sweet mini cake was ordered for Father’s Day—but it wasn’t for a dad. Our client wanted to celebrate her mom, who had filled the role of both mom and dad throughout her life.

So instead of “Mama” or “Papa,” she asked us to write “Pama”—a little combination of both. 🤍

We love getting to create cakes that are more than something beautiful and delicious. Cakes that tell a story, celebrate someone deeply loved, and make an already meaningful moment a little sweeter.

Such a special little cake for a very special Pama. 🌼 . . . .

My brother asked me to make a birthday cake for his fiancée, and she had absolutely no idea it was coming. 🥹

She’s Brazilian and LOVES chocolate + passionfruit—a combination we don’t typically offer, but one we were more than happy to make especially for her.

My brother handled the ordering. I handled… everything extra. 😂 Fresh blackberries, plums, florals, chocolate drip, a little gold—because apparently I’m incapable of making a simple cake when it’s for someone I love.

She was completely surprised and LOVED it, which made this one even sweeter.

And next year? I get to make their WEDDING cake. 🙌🏻 Cannot wait. . . . .

Some weddings just feel extra special to be a part of. 🤍 . . . .


Last summer, my college roommate asked us to create the dessert spread for her wedding—and we filled it with angel food cake shots, fresh berries, cream, and edible florals.

We even made an angel food wedding cake for the couple. Not something we normally offer, but for an old friend? Absolutely.

And now, one year later, we got to bake for them again.

Every couple who orders their wedding cake through us receives a complimentary mini cake for their first anniversary. So naturally, theirs had to be angel food cake.

One year later, and still making their memories a little sweeter. 🤍

Whatever chapter you’re closing—or beginning—I fully support celebrating it with cake.

This cake was ordered by a husband to celebrate the end of his wife’s breastfeeding journey, and I genuinely loved everything about it. Equal parts sentimental and hilarious, they gathered a few friends, cut some cake, and celebrated the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.

These are the celebrations I LOVE being invited into. The deeply personal ones. The slightly unconventional ones. The ones that mark something that mattered, even if there isn’t a greeting card for it.

And as a mom of six who is currently nearing the end of my own breastfeeding chapter, this one felt especially sweet to make. 🤍

Sometimes you shouldn’t have to share your birthday cake. 😂

This little SpongeBob cake was made just for the birthday girl to enjoy—and honestly, I fully support the decision.

She picked one of her favorite themes, and we turned it into a mini cake that was completely hers. Tiny cake. Lots of buttercream. SpongeBob + Patrick. What more could you need?

And as someone who grew up with SpongeBob constantly playing in the background thanks to my brothers, I had WAY too much fun with this one. 😂

There’s something extra fun about taking a theme someone loves and turning it into a cake that feels completely them. . . . .

My favorite thing about making cakes? Imagining where they end up. 🤍

This one was made for a golden birthday celebration with some of her closest friends. And I just love thinking about this little cake sitting in the middle of it all—good friends, lots of laughter, and a birthday girl being celebrated by the people she loves.

That’s why we love what we do. We get to make something beautiful and delicious, but we also get to play a small part in some pretty special moments.

So bring us ALL the golden birthdays, golden anniversaries, and everything else worth celebrating. We’re here for it. 🙌🏻 . . . .
