So I’ve figured out what may have occurred here on my page regarding Facebook stating that I was sharing someone else’s content.
About two weeks ago, I received a message from a page called Choco Cake stating they loved my Spider-Man cake on page 5. Linked in their message, was a link to another page that had shared my content, among many other talented bakers photos. I stated that they needed to ask for my consent before posting - the message was never read, and the post still remains all while being shared across the globe by obviously fake accounts. This has became a common issue with social media and even watermarks can easily be removed due to AI. As I’ve stated in my previous post, I’ve worked really hard over the past 10 years to get to where I am today and I refuse to allow scammers ruin my page, my name and my dedication to my clients. I believe that these pages are the ones that have reported my content as their own. It’s the ONLY thing that really stands out.
NOTE: THIS IS WHY I TELL OTHER BAKERS TO NEVER USE OTHERS PHOTOS AS EXAMPLES OF THEIR WORK. It’s never to degrade their ability, but to PROTECT your business from lawsuits. I want EVERYONE to succeed.
With this all being said, over the next few days, I will be creating a PRIVATE PAGE that requires a friend request to be accepted on to the page. I will be sending out friend requests to as much people on here as I can. Once everyone is transferred over, this business page will be deleted from the public.
If you all can, please see the photos below and report these pages for stealing content.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read and understand this difficult situation.
