Candidly farmers market days are both the most fun AND the hardest days of this business. It takes 24-48 hours to prepare, TONS of packaging and labeling of each individual item, and a lot of mess to make a good variety of items. Confession: It takes sometimes 5 days to finish cleaning all the dishes and get back in a normal life rhythm.

BUT I love talking with all of you and meeting neighbors I've never met before and hearing their gluten free sagas.

Will you be at the market this year? I'm trying to lock in 3-4 dates and could really use your enthusiasm and support to make it possible!

Did you know that for Thanksgiving 2025 I made almost 150 dinner rolls? All gluten free (always), some also dairy free, all cut and weighed and rolled and baked by just one very over caffeinated Snark Witch.

So far I only have orders for around 70 rolls for this weekend ...

Now I know not everyone celebrates Easter, but so what? Everyone can celebrate some risen celiac baked bread right?

And if you need those rolls dairy free, no problem. Just make a note on your order and I can do that. They turn out just as pillowy and delicious as the butter laden ones (if a bit paler).

Mmm cake scraps....my favorite snack!

If you'd like to be eating cake (not scraps but like really good lovely cake) on Easter you have ONE WEEK to get your order in!

I'll be making gluten free carrot and coconut cake for the whole family, or you can snag just a double decker slice of carrot cake for yourself to make everyone jealous. And if you need dinner rolls, order a pan of those too. They're so good with the ham as leftovers too. Maybe grab 2 pans ... just saying.

I started Snark Witch not to ton of money or build a huge business - I started it to make sure families (legal and chosen) can all share and enjoy delicious food at holidays and special celebrations.

Happy new year! Hope you started your day with something delicious and wholesome.

It's been nice to rest this last week or so. It got a bit hectic there by Christmas. But I'm getting back in the kitchen today is all about New Years Day gumbo, greens, black eyed peas and corn bread for our family. My gf roux is just past caramel colored.... Getting there!

Thank you so much for a wonderful 2025. My first full year as a baking Snark Witch was wild and fun and I hope brought joy to you and yours.

In 2026 I'll get a new website up and running for your custom orders, but you can always dm or email me too. We'll see what the year brings but I hope to continue to be a part of your gatherings so that everyone can share a delicious (and safe) meal together.
