Incredible Stuffing Recipe!!
This recipe is an absolute favorite! It's so scrumptious that we make it at other times of year as a side dish (or even a main dish!). It tastes really great with fresh herbs.
YIELD
Makes 8 to 10 servings
This recipe can be made one day ahead.
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter plus more for baking dish
About 10 cups Rosemary Bread or Honey Whole Wheat Bread, torn into 1" pieces
2 1/2 cups chopped yellow onions
1 1/2 cups celery cut into 1/4" slices
1/2 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 1/2 cups chicken stock or broth, divided
2 large eggs

Kneaded Nourishment Baked French Toast
7 slices whole wheat Cinnamon Raisin Bread
4 eggs
2 cups whole milk
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
2 tablespoons butter plus extra for greasing pan
Butter 8-inch x8-inch pan and layer bread slices in pan. Whisk together eggs, milk, honey, and vanilla; pour over bread. Allow bread to absorb egg mixture for about 5 minutes or leave covered overnight in the fridge. Place the 2 tablespoons butter in small slices around the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes, or until cooked through but still soft and moist in the middle. Serve hot with butter and maple syrup.

Business Update! We will no longer be at the Chantilly market at St. Veronica. We've switched to the Huntington Smart Market in Alexandria on Thursdays! We'll still be in Reston on Wednesdays and Sterling on Fridays.
