It's looking like fall! Even if it isn't feel like it just yet! Need a last minute treat for Labor Day? We perfected our s'mores cookies. These are a chewy graham cracker cookies with marshmallows and chocolate chips mixed in. They are topped with marshmallow and piece of Hershey chocolate. $1.50/ cookie.

My answer to my favorite thing about summer is fresh fruits and veggies! If you didn't know, I grew up in a farming family. Raising animals and gardening. My great aunt even had a dairy farm! I lobe to use fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers. I also spend my summer and fall canning lots of yummy treats to enjoy out of season. Who here has a family member that canned or currently canned? What foods did they can?

Included picture is fresh peaches that I am going to turn in to cobbler and peach crisp!

As we all set out to celebrate with our families today, please take a moment to remember the reason for today. We are free to celebrate because of those who didn't come home. Thank you to all of our military men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. And thank you to all those who have and are serving.
