Ok my peeps because you asked for it and because I’m married to an actual cowboy, I made pan de campo today! With his guidance and expertise it turned out really well! I also learned it’s called cowboy or camp bread and it was named the official state bread of Texas in 2005 🤩 I will now be taking orders if anyone is interested. Today’s the big day y’all. We started out bright and early in Raymondville and now we’re ending the day in Rio Hondo at the Triple A Small Town Market. Come visit us for a delightful sweet treat! We have some new items for the summer - cheesecake, lemon loaf, piña colada delight, chocolate chip banana bread and jalapeño zucchini bread as well as all the regular favorites!
