To all my wonderful customers, I have made the decision to stop taking orders for the summer season due to the rising temperatures outside. My little house ac can’t keep up the house cool enough for me to bake. I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped make my little business a success. I will keep feeding my little starter all summer and ensure he is in pristine condition for the cooler weather this fall. In the meantime, don’t forget about my amazing sourdough bread. Let thoughts of it dance in your dreams until I start baking again. Hope everyone has a safe and fun summer. I look forward to baking for you again in the near future.

As a token of gratitude for all the great care they give me during chemo days I delivered sourdough loaves to my chemo nurses for Nurses Week this morning and additionally spoiled my office mate who is a nurse with a loaf for her and her family. And dropped a loaf off in the break room outside our office for the other staff to enjoy.

Following a two-week hiatus from baking, my husband and I spent a wonderful weekend with my dad and stepmom, which was followed by a spontaneous road trip across the Midwest. Armed with an atlas and no agenda, we traversed over 2000 miles in six days, experiencing many of the region's hidden gems. Now back to our regular schedule, I’ll be taking orders for sourdough bread this week, capping at 12 loaves due to the approaching Mother's Day weekend. To place an order, kindly send me a message, keeping in mind that sourdough bread preparation requires three days' notice.

Starting to prep the dough for this Saturday's event. It's the Black Hills Works Annual Employee garage sale. A great friend of mine who works at Black Hills Works and loves my bread invited me to set up a table and sell bread. I'm excited about a couple of new flavors I have on my menu. This will be my last event for the spring. But I'm still taking orders until the weather gets too hot to bake.
