Hello to all my sourdough bread lovers. No I haven’t fallen off the face of the Earth. Still hibernating from the heat. Even with today’s warm weather I turned on the oven to bake a couple of cinnamon raisins loaves for my uncle visiting from Hawaii. He’s taking them back to the island in his carryon tomorrow. Hopefully soon the fall temps will kick in and I can start taking orders. I’ll keep you posted.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. We finally got a couple days break from the heat so I could bake a few sourdough loaves for my family. Can’t wait for cooler temperatures so I can start baking for my customers again. I have missed you all. I hope this post finds you having a fantastic summer.

To all my wonderful customers, I have made the decision to stop taking orders for the summer season due to the rising temperatures outside. My little house ac can’t keep up the house cool enough for me to bake. I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped make my little business a success. I will keep feeding my little starter all summer and ensure he is in pristine condition for the cooler weather this fall. In the meantime, don’t forget about my amazing sourdough bread. Let thoughts of it dance in your dreams until I start baking again. Hope everyone has a safe and fun summer. I look forward to baking for you again in the near future.
