Hello! A little update from us❤️ We closed La Vie en Loaf right after Christmas and moved to in with my parents in Riverside January 4th. It was a massive decision filled with a lot of grief. This little bakery community has served us so well😭 I made this decision after health issues and many limitations in Single Mom life. It has been challenging to have full custody, navigate finances and be on my own in many things. I’ve already felt a bit of relief sharing the mental/physical load with two loving Grandparents. We are working on figuring out our new life and building community out here.

My hope is to move back and reopen when we do. It was a massive grief to pack up bakery tools that allowed me to create magic in my kitchen. I’m still in awe of how this love of mine connected to so many wonderful people in this community. It has been my greatest joy! I’m so grateful to every single one of you! Orders are up for this week! I’ll have Sourdough on Friday and Cinnamon Rolls on Saturday. I’ve added Sourdough focaccia for the menu this week as well as Sourdough rolls. I hope you all enjoyed your baked goods for Thanksgiving. I will start taking Christmas orders next week!

Orders are up for this week! I will have Sourdough loaves on Friday. They won’t be available next week, however, you can freeze a loaf and defrost the night before to use for appetizers🥳🥳 I am still taking orders for Sourdough Rolls for Thanksgiving week! I have limited quantities, so ordering sooner is best. Cinnamon Rolls will be available for Saturday after Thanksgiving. We can’t wait to be a part of your holiday tables!

Orders are up for this week! As well as Thanksgiving Sourdough Rolls🦃 You can preorder to reserve now. Rolls are made as our Local loaves and baked in a pan for easy reheating. They are immediately brushed with butter after baking in the oven. Each roll is hand rolled by me, so I have limited quantities that I can do. Get your orders in! Thank you so much for every order and for bringing us into your traditions🥰

Orders are up for this week! We will have Sourdough for pick up on Thursday, Halloween🎃 AND Cinnamon Rolls on Saturday. We are still getting used to this new rhythm. I am working my second job until I take time off for the holidays. We appreciate all the support that this little business gives us.

Ive spent the last few months working nights and getting off late. I’m looking forward to working during the day while Atticus is in school so that I get more time with him🥹 It’s truly a gift to get to this work. I love that it’s become a tradition amongst so many local families. You all are the best!

It’s been awhile! But I’m baking again this week🥳 i will have Cinnamon Rolls for this Saturday, 10/26. I plan to resume Sourdough soon as well, but I’m giving myself a a gentle transition back to baking while working another job.

It’s been a wild year with a lot of surprises. I became a single Mom abruptly last year, and then I started having health issues. This year included being diagnosed with a tumor, that turned out to be non-cancerous, praise God! I am now on meds to shrink the tumor. So far, only symptoms are fatigue. Managing single Mom life, work, health and now adding the bakery will be challenging. But I’m so excited to bake for you all! Orders are up now🥰🥰

Orders are up for this week & Mother’s Day weekend! We will be baking Sourdough on Saturday, 5/4 & will have Cinnamon Rolls on Saturday, 5/11 for Mothers Day weekend💐 Cinnamon Roll orders will be PREORDER only and orders will close Wednesday, 5/8. Thank you for your continued support!

Orders are up for this week🏈🏈🏈 Sourdough will available for pick up on Saturday & Cinnamon Rolls on Sunday!!! Make sure you get your game day orders in asap! I’m worried about having enough ingredients for the weekend as it’s a big food holiday, so I may not be able to accommodate a lot of last minute orders. Sourdough will be so good for so many Super Bowl snacks! I usually make some kind of dip every year that we dunk Sourdough into🤤 Our pull apart rolls make great sliders👌🏻

Yesterday, I had to cancel orders for the first time. Everyone was contacted personally for a refund or to move to this weekend. If I didn’t hear back, please contact me to confirm like your order moved to this Saturday. We look forward to your orders!
