Hola hola, I’m Daisy! First-gen everything, proud Latina, legal industry vet turned professional development coach, and your biggest HYPE woman when it comes to owning your story 👯‍♀️

I am the proud Owner & Founder of Dayz & Co., a career coaching firm based out of SoCal.

I built Dayz & Co. because after navigating corporate law firms at the tender age of 18.... I know what it feels like to walk into rooms where you’re underestimated, overlooked, or written off. I’ve been the single teen mom, the intern, the one figuring it out as I went. And I’ve also been the one who refused to shrink, kept showing up, and turned doubt into drive ♡ I have also worn the hat of comunidad builder, mental health advocate, UX manager, Hugger, y mas!

What made you feel Good & Cozy in your last Season? 🎀

GRWM + a little life update & sharing whats been brewing with the collab!

I gently closed out the season of that year and said hellooo hello to a new one.

I took time to reflect with grace. The wins. The setbacks. The things I dreamed of doing but did not get to (yet!). My highest highs, like my kiddo turning 21 and booking my first PAID speaking gig. And my low lows, like transitioning in my own career and learning to navigate new spaces that honestly felt scary.

I am claiming 2025 as my beautiful challenge. It stretched me in every direction, but it also gave me permission to slow down in ways I never allowed myself before.

As I step into 2026, I am carrying a permission slip to keep resting and to truly prioritize my wellness ♡

Yesterday I woke up to something really special, my Bold Journey feature went live!

Hola Hugs! I'm Daisy a proud Latina First-Gen and owner of Dayz & Co. I empower WOC & First Gen professionals and students to build their career confidence & rediscover their professional selves 🫶

As I've been home recovering post suegery, good news has been finding me lately, and I’m choosing to receive it with gratitude.

In this article, I shared what helps me stay grounded and positive, even when the journey hasn’t been easy. I also gave my flowers to the people who saw me, supported me, and believed in me along the way, My Mother, H.S. Teacher Mentors and Godmother to name a few. 🌻 Because none of us do this alone, it takes a village & tribe. And I'm so grateful for mine ♡

I’m incredibly agradecida for the opportunity to tell my story the why behind my business, the experiences that shaped me, and what continues to drive and inspire the work I do with first-gen professionals, mujeres, and our comunidad.

Let's Pause & Tell The Truth

I was watching a recent video and something she said really stayed with me:
pause… and take inventory.

Not of your metas, dreams and to do lists.
Not of what you didn’t do, forgot to do or didnt get to (that to-do list again!)
But of your actual VIDA.

She talked about looking at your calendar, your journal, your photo galleries, porque they don’t lie. They show you what you lived. What LIT you up. And what quietly drained you.

As I sit, reflect & recover this season, I realized I’ve been doing this for decades myself - i love capturing moments, encapsulating them: small notes, photos, flowers between books, health + wellness tracking, what worked (and didn’t) in my career....a keepsake box of birthday cards and baby shower wishes (21 years ago! Yep still got em tucked away somewhere).

Some years better than others…
but the data was always there.

And it made me pause even more. Before rushing into the next year, the next version of myself, the next “I should be doing esto o lo otro”… what if we stepped back, took a pausa and really looked at where our time, energy, and heart actually went?

That’s what I’m calling a Self-ventory 🤍

This isn’t about judging your year.
It’s about understanding it.
Porque awareness is how we grow. 🌱

FIRST:
Look at your calendar, journal, photos y recuedos!
Let them tell the real story of your year; not just what you remember, but what actually happened.

Step 1:
What brought you joy?
What gave you comfort?
Que te dio Luz?
🫶 Write it down.

Step 2:
Ask yourself:
What was hard?
What drained me?
What felt heavy or even horrible?
✍🏽 Write it down. All of it.

Step 3:
Now ask:
What did I learn?
What did this season teach me about myself?
🎀 Write. It. Down.

This is data.
Not to shame yourself, but to guide YOU through the next season & chapter.

We’re wired to remember the hard things, but when we intentionally look back, we CAN rewire our brains to notice what brought felicidad y joy. What lit you up? What gave you peace? What made your heart smile 💝
