Fun fact back before bread and other baked goods one of my favorite things to make was marshmallows. 5 years ago I made over 600 marshmallows for my brother and sister in law’s wedding favors. I had flavors like chocolate, margarita, Oreo, mint chocolate, strawberry, cheesecake and more. I recently bought a new Kitchen Aid mixer for making marshmallows and macrons, maybe this summer I’ll whip some up!

Good morning!! Sorry it’s been a little quiet around here. Yesterday was dough day and I made 6 plain loaves and 4 everything bagel seasoning loaves. These will get baked tonight and head to the cart on Friday.

Next week is a super busy week as we wrap up field trip season at work and a soccer tournament over the weekend so there may not be a cart next week so stock up while you can! After next week things should calm down a bit and I will try to have a more regularly scheduled cart. Enjoy your day, I’m headed out to get some 7th graders to enjoy nature at their field trip. Wish me luck, it’s a lot harder than it sounds! 🥴🤣

Guys, I got cookie bags which can only mean one thing…cookies will be hitting the cart soon! My plan is to have some brown butter sourdough cookies out on the cart on Sunday. Due to my work/soccer schedule this week there won’t be any bread on the cart Sunday but swing by and grab a pack of cookies to give to your mom, wife, heck even yourself I’m not judging! 🤣

After a day where I sold 8 loaves and THREE DOZEN bagels, there is one sad lonely loaf on the cart. I’ll probably keep it out there until about 8 pm, otherwise I might get my own loaf of sourdough which I haven’t had in forever. Thank you to everyone who made today probably my best sales day yet!

Stay tuned I’m trying to figure out my schedule so I can have something on the cart for Mother’s Day even though most of my day will be spent over 2 hours away on a soccer field but there’s really no place I’d rather be!

Good morning…I think it’s still morning (I’ve been in the kitchen for 4 hours). I’m working as quickly as possible to get some loaves and bagels out today because I actually have to leave my house to go to work 3 days this week. Work cutting into my sourdough time…boo. It’s ok I don’t mind leaving once in a while plus until sourdough can pay for me to feed 2 growing boys (let’s be honest there isn’t enough sourdough in the world for that 🤣) I need to go to work!

I’ll have a few plain loaves, 1 everything bagel seasoning loaf (which actually looks like it turned out fantastic), some blueberry bagels, everything bagels (they are in the oven right now) and later some cinnamon raisin bagels. See ya soon!

Happy Saturday friends! I hope you are all out enjoying the day! I spent the first part of my day working at Adkins Arboretum open house, it was a fun event and I supplied the cookies. On my way home I stopped in the thrift store and found a nifty little sourdough starter crock. Do I need another vessel to hold sourdough starter…absolutely not, did I get it anyway…heck yeah I did! 🤣 Tonight I’ll be watching my favorite MLS team the Philadelphia Union loose their game because they’ve lost all but one game this season but it won’t stop me from watching (at least not yet 🤦‍♀️).

Tomorrow before a long day of soccer I’ll be mixing up some dough, so if you’d like a loaf let me know. Otherwise I’m hoping to have it on the cart by Monday afternoon. Along with 6 everything bagels, 6 cinnamon raisin bagels, and hopefully I’ll be trying blueberry bagels this week!

Also would anyone be interested in an Everything bagel seasoning sourdough loaf? I have a 5 gallon container of seasoning so I’ve been thinking about making some loaves. A slice toasted with a little cream cheese…yum! 👩‍🍳😘

It’s a cookie kinda day! Tomorrow Adkins Arboretum is hosting an Open House and I’m making cookies for it, I’ll also be helping at the event! First up my favorite brown butter chocolate chip sourdough cookies! I’ll also be making snickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin. Come see us tomorrow (I’ll be in the wetlands) for a fun day and grab a cookie!

UPDATE: It’s drizzling so I moved the cart up under the awning of my front steps. You are still more than welcome to come grab a loaf. As soon as the rain stops I’ll move it back down.

Also I just baked a few cookies (I was testing out a new recipe), so if you buy a loaf grab a free cookie! 🍪
