🍂🤍 CINNAMON ROLL SATURDAY IS HERE, AND THE SHED IS OPEN! 🤍🍂
We’ve got lots of goodies waiting for you today! Our jumbo roll flavor of the week is APPLE CRISP, made with locally grown Virginia apples! 🍎🍏 We’re also stocked up on apple c***r donuts, lots of fresh sourdough bread (including some of our NEW fall flavors!), and plenty of other treats to make your Saturday a little sweeter. 🥖🍩
But I also wanted to share something a little more personal with y’all today. 🤍
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, and I wanted to do a little something special for all the other loss mamas out there. So many of you have shared your stories with me, just as I’ve shared Brooks’s story with you. I know how much it means to have a space where our babies are remembered, where their names can be spoken, and where we can acknowledge that they are forever a part of our lives, even though we don’t get to hold them here with us.
So, for the rest of this month, I’ve put out little white pumpkins at the shed. 🤍 If you’ve lost a baby or babies, I would love for you to write their name(s) on one of the pumpkins. We’re going to find a special place to display them for the rest of October, and in Octobers to come, as a little way to honor all of these precious babies gone far too soon.
Whether your loss was recent or years ago, whether you’ve shared your story with the world or carry it quietly in your heart, your baby belongs here. Their name belongs here. And you belong here, too. 🤍
I hope this little corner of the shed can be a place where we remember them together. Because they may not be here in our arms, but they will always be a part of our stories. 🕊️
