Missing my beautiful daughter-in-law a little extra this week. ❤️

Last week she was here helping me bake, and apparently I got spoiled REAL fast. 😂 I’m so used to doing all of the baking on my own that having someone there rolling dough, cutting treats, filling trays and keeping things moving felt like a luxury!

Now I’m back in the kitchen doing it all myself, looking around like… wait, where’s my assistant?! 😂

Once you get good help, you really don’t want to let it go! Miss you Razel Hamilton ❤️🐾

A little reminder about who we are. ❤️🐾

Yes, Rescue Dogs Love Treats is a dog treat business. We bake treats, sell treats, spoil dogs and use a portion of what we earn to give back to rescues.

But if you’ve been here for a while, you probably know this page has always been about a little more than treats.

Lately, I’ve shared more of Frankie’s story because so many of you have asked how he’s doing, how he’s progressing and, just as often, how I’m doing through all of this. Frankie is part of this business, part of our family and a huge part of our story — so sharing this journey here feels right.

I’ve always had a heart for those who truly cannot help themselves. The abused. The neglected. The forgotten. Whether they have two legs or four, I believe when we have the ability to help, we should.

So sometimes this page may be dog treats. Sometimes it may be Frankie. Sometimes it may be a rescue that needs a hand, another small business that deserves some love and support, a story that deserves attention, or something I simply believe is worth speaking up about.

It may look like a lot of different pieces, but to me, they all roll up into the same thing:

Compassion. Community. Supporting one another. Giving back.

That’s the heart behind Rescue Dogs Love Treats. ❤️🐾

We’re officially halfway through the week, and the boys are already looking ahead to the weekend! 🙌 We can’t wait to see everyone Sunday at the market for treats, free samples, pup cups, and plenty of doggy lovin’. 🐶

🐾 Frankie’s learning a new way to adventure. ❤️

Tonight was our second night out with his new stroller, and I think he’s starting to understand what it’s all about.

Walking, hiking, and playing have always been Frankie’s favorite things, and I think he’s beginning to realize that those long walks just aren’t as doable as they used to be. But if there’s one thing about Frankie, it’s that he’s adaptable.

He’ll walk when he can. He’ll ride when he needs to. And apparently, he’s learning that being chauffeured around while still getting all the smells, sights and fresh air isn’t such a bad deal. 😂

We’re both learning as we go—when to let him push himself, when to step in and help, and how to keep giving him the life he loves without asking his body to do more than it can.

DM may be changing how Frankie does his favorite things, but it doesn’t get to take them away.

Tonight, I think the stroller officially got Frankie’s approval. 🐾

I work two full-time jobs—my day job, then evenings and weekends baking, packaging, delivering, prepping and working the market

Every Sunday I swear I’m going home to post all those market pictures and videos.

It’s ! Please help to share TUCKER who has been waiting patiently to find his fur-ever home!

Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 1.5 year old Lab mix boy looking for his forever home. Tucker loves all people, and dog-savvy cats! He will chase a cat that runs from him, but enjoys the company of cats that like to just hang with him. Tucker is crate-trained and potty-trained. Tucker requires a private dining area, (his foster mom feeds him in his crate). Tucker is very energetic and does best with older kids, but loves to cuddle with his people whenever he gets a chance. Tucker prefers to be the center of his person's world and not share the love with other dogs, but he does do well with dog savvy cats!
