Not at the Farmers Market this weekend, but I decided to make full batches of some items for a small special order and will end up with a few extras!

I selfishly saved a box of my cinnamon roll scones from my last bake and tucked them in the freezer for a day when I needed an easy breakfast. 😏

Today was that day.

A few minutes to thaw and 30 seconds in the microwave to warm it up and I had the best little breakfast with basically zero effort.

Today’s cinnamon roll scone was every bit as good as I remembered. 🤎

Today is the last day to reserve your sourdough & baked goods for Saturday, 9/26 pickup! Preorders close tonight at 9 PM!

This will be my last bake for a little while as I’ll be having surgery next week and taking some time off to recover. If you’ve been meaning to grab something, this is your last chance for a bit!

Happy Fall, y’all! 🍂🎃

It may still feel like summer around here, but we're choosing to believe it's fall because Pumpkin Scones are on the menu for pickup this Saturday at the Bread Shed! If the weather won't give us fall, at least our baked goods can. ❤️

These pumpkin scones are filled with cozy spices and topped with a maple glaze. They are so good!

Since I’ll be taking a little break from baking after this weekend, I thought I’d share a little reminder: you don’t have to eat everything right away! Most of my baked goods freeze really well, which is a great way to stock up and enjoy them later.

🍞 Sourdough bread — freeze whole or slice it first so you can take out just what you need. I especially love pre-slicing and freezing the Cinnamon Swirl Sourdough. ❤️

🧁 Muffins & scones — I wrap each one individually in plastic wrap, then place them in a freezer zip-top bag.

🍪 Cookies — freeze them in an airtight freezer bag or container and pull them out as you want them.

A little freezer stash means you can enjoy your favorites even while I’m taking some time away from the kitchen.

Preorders are open for pickup at the Bread Shed on Saturday, September 26th!

🚨⚠️ This will be my last Bread Shed for a little while. I’ll be having surgery next week and will need to take a little time away from baking while I recover, which also means I won’t be at the October Farmers Market.

So if you've been craving some Tried & True sourdough or other baked goods, this is a good weekend to grab some! ❤️

Original sourdough topped with avocado, Everything Bagel seasoning, and a fried egg (no runny yolk for me!).

Simple, but so good! Tomorrow, I may have to try it with a slice of jalapeño & cheddar sourdough!
