ATTENTION: Wesche Baking House is excited to collaborate with our friend Carrie Gaynor, raising funds to send her Tanzanian friend, Francis, through his second and FINAL year of wildlife management training at CAWM (The College of African Wildlife Management)! The ecotourism industry in East Africa is crucial for ensuring the survival of the beautiful wildlife species that call Tanzania home and is also beneficial to the economies of the countries they live in. And what better way to support her cause than with some brand new flavors?
THE SWEET DETAILS: Our bakers have called in Guest Baker #1, Christina Sas, and together they have been playing with the kitchen torch- I MEAN, hard at work developing not one, but TWO new delectable delicacies to support Carrie’s fundraising efforts:
AUTUMN'S SHORTBREAD: Did you ever wonder what would happen if you took a pecan sandy and added a fall twist? Toasted Pecans, Butterscotch, Cinnamon, Allspice, Cloves, notes of Rum, and all the good Fall feels, that's what! Such a warm and cozy cookie you may find yourself saying crazy things like, "what's pumpkin spice?"
Disappearing SCOTCHIE-MALLOW BARS: Our nut-free option, this ooey-gooey mess of a blondie bar will have you wishing you ordered more of them! Marshmallows, butterscotch and chocolate mix together for a delightful combination that is reminiscent of a smore in bar form. They don’t call them Disappearing Bars for nothing!
THE NITTY GRITTY: Each box of treats will be $25, with $15 going towards our fundraiser. Act fast, because these treats will only be offered this coming weekend, and then again at the end of October.
