Bake Rejoice is sweet neighborhood bakery located in Historic Downtown Plano, TX. We specialize in unique cakes for all occasions.
We also offer a daily selection of cookies, cupcakes, brownies and other baked goods prepared in-house.

Bake Rejoice will permanently close at 2PM Christmas Eve. We will operate with regular business hours until that day.
I would personally like to thank my loyal customers for 7 wonderful years in business. This probably comes as a surprise to most but is a decision 2 years in the making. I simply cannot continue to work as hard as I have the last 7 years.
I will miss being part of this family like community in Downtown Plano. I will miss the many friends I’ve made in my years in business. I will not miss the 12 hour days/7 day weeks, aching feet and joints and all the headaches that come with business ownership.
Again, thanks to all my customers.

I am so thankful for my wonderful employees.
We had the busiest Thanksgiving ever and if I didn't have Jamila I would literally have had to work without sleep for 5 straight days.
I am blessed to have this tireless, dependable and gifted pastry chef to create all the delicious baked goods we sell.
She actually worked a 40 hour week in 3 days (1 day being midnight to 11 PM the following night) to get Thanksgiving orders done. She is so hard working and dedicated to her craft and I'm so lucky to have her in charge of the kitchen. Her uncanny ability to know what is needed and have it done before I even know it is needed makes my life so much easier.
Of course Thanksgiving was made much easier with Lissy as well. I've had the pleasure of working with her for the 7 years I've been open and in that time she's been the sweet face of the business's customer service. When she comes in the door I know the day has just gotten easier because she's there to answer the phone and greet customers. I adore her and she makes the work place so fun.
The same can be said for Leroy. He's so good with customers and keeps the place so clean. Leroy is so kind and patient and we all love him and abuse him and he takes it with a smile.
If you like all the pictures on this page they are made possible by Christina. She makes me look good. I could go on about her talent but it speaks for itself in the photos. She also makes me laugh, it's a pleasure to work beside her everyday.
I apologize for the extremely lengthy post. These people were my first thought on this Thanksgiving morning. They are fabulous employees but more importantly they are my friends and my family and I love them.

Yes, I know this isn't a cake. This is Sara, a new resident of East side village apartments ( in the building where Bake Rejoice is housed). We've all been charmed by her all week and distracted by her every time her owner walks her. We've had to stop our work to go pet her.. Got to love a pointy head boxer puppy
