What started as a classic New York black & white cookie inspired something completely different.

Introducing our new Black & White Focaccia — high-hydration focaccia brushed with vanilla simple syrup, topped with sweet cannoli cream, rich Nutella, and finished with rainbow dots for a little crunch and color.

We unveiled it at our pizza tasting last night, and now we want to hear from you.

A few years ago, I would write a quote for almost anyone who asked.

Today, I spend more time trying to determine whether we're the right fit for an event.

That might sound strange coming from a catering company, but I've learned that not every customer is looking for the same thing.

Some people want the lowest-cost option.

Others want to create a memorable food experience for their guests.

Neither is wrong.

But Serpico's Bread Co. was built for the latter.

That realization recently led me to completely redesign our catering inquiry process and inspired this week's Monday Essay.
