It’s been a while since I’ve posted and I wanted to share that I made the difficult decision not to renew the bakery’s lease. Rolling Pepperoni has been quiet for the past year while I worked on renovating the bakery and focused on my personal life. During this time, it became apparent that this commercial space is falling apart and it’s beyond my ability to salvage it. I looked for a better location but haven’t found anywhere safe enough to warrant the challenge of moving. So after 11 years this month is RP’s final chapter.
It’s been my life’s greatest honor and pleasure to hold space for pepperoni rolls and Appalachian story-sharing. I’ve made countless mistakes and would love to redo my errors, but I hope the work has done its job to inspire and empower Appalachian narratives. You’ve made me proud to be myself and I hope RP’s story initiative made you proud to be exactly as you are, too.
This weekend on March 14th and 15th, I’ll be doing pick-up orders for the final time 🙀 Please place your order in advance online. I won’t be able to handle any walk-in orders as I’m working on emptying out the bakery and selling off equipment. If you are interested in buying equipment please DM. I will post about the equipment for sale in a different post.
Thank you for all your support and kindness during this challenging moment. I appreciate you 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
