Another slightly dramatized moment with bread 😅 remember back when everyone was crashing out about leftover crusts? Leftover crust from FMF sourdough apparently cuts a little deeper for me (even though I didn’t also lovingly mill it myself…) I for one think the crust tastes amazing! 😂

Sourdough loaf made with only fresh milled flour. What I learned- the bread is delicious, flavorful, not falling apart with crumbliness. It’s hearty, ate a few slices (including that bread butt that went off screen) and served up some for my kids afternoon snack and thats all they wanted. And next time, I think I’ll try it with honey right at the beginning. Overall, a pretty successful first bake! Things to think about…

And I didn’t forget the salt this time! I still need to have a rematch with fresh milled sandwich bread, but today was not that day. I’m wondering if I should go and add honey to this artisan loaf since the flavor of fresh milled can be a bit strong? Or maybe just save it for next time…

I love making a good old Classic sourdough loaf though! Thankful to get to serve up some fresh bread to a couple of new folks tomorrow. Seriously yall if I just made my classic loaf all the time I would be a happy happy baker! And hopefully everyone would be happy eaters😁
