I’ve been wanting to do something creative that’s also actually useful, so I’ve spent the last few days putting together a new bullet journal. I have some goals I want to stay on top of, and with school starting soon, life with the kids is about to get busy again. I’m really liking how it’s all coming together.

This is a first. Canned some dill pickle spears morning and when I opened the canner one of my jars was floating. When I got them all out, I noticed that jar had zero liquid in it. I inspected the jar and there is a big crack! So thankful it didn't bust open. Straight i the trash it went.

The Tromboncino (Zucchetta Rampicante) are putting on a show!

Every evening I find myself stopping to admire them in the golden light. It's amazing what a few seeds can become in just a couple of months.

Has anyone else grown Tromboncino? I'd love to hear your favorite ways to cook them!

My potato harvest is coming in and I am trying to think of ways to store it long term. I have an extra fridge that I can set to 40-46°. I was thinking of keeping my potatoes and carrots in it like a mini root celler. Thoughts?

I have two more beds to still harvest.
