Running Jeremiah’s Cookies means learning how to take orders, manage money, talk to customers, plan ahead, keep up with school AND still find time to be a kid. 😂

Every order is another opportunity to learn something new.

Some days everything goes perfectly. Other days? Well…that’s part of being a business owner too. 😂🍪

The goal isn’t just to build a cookie business—it’s to build confidence, responsibility, creativity, and skills that Jeremiah can take with him wherever life leads.

Running a business at 14 is teaching me that making the product is only ONE part of being a business owner. 😂

I’m learning how to take orders, save money, talk to customers, plan what I’m selling, keep track of what I spend, and still be a regular 14-year-old.

One thing I’ve already learned: every dollar you make isn’t a dollar you should spend. I’ve started putting 30% of the money I receive into savings. 💰

Question for the adults: What’s ONE money or business lesson you wish someone had taught you when you were 14?

For my birthday, I received some money, and one of the first things I did was transfer 30% of it into my savings account. 💰

That’s a habit I hope to carry with me into adulthood. My goal is that whenever I receive income—whether it’s birthday money, money from Jeremiah’s Cookies, or eventually a paycheck—30% automatically goes into savings.

Being a young entrepreneur isn’t just about learning how to make money. I’m also learning how to save it, manage it, and make smart decisions with it.

I’m only 14, but I’m learning now so these habits can hopefully stick with me for life. 🍪💛
