Good morning cakeeaters!! First of all we would like to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! To each and every one of you for supporting us and helping us make Eat My Cakes what it is today! Every single one of you was part of making our cake dreams come true! Thank you for making us part of your special day and know you mean the world to us! Some of you may already know, but unfortunately I have been dealing with some health issues lately. I am sad to have to say that I am going to have to take a break from making cakes for the time being, and focus on getting better. This isn't "goodbye", just so long for now my friends! I plan on doing everything possible to get better and be back in no time! Thank you again so much for your love and support and we wish for you all an amazing holiday season from our family to yours!!!

Happy Saturday cakeeaters!!! We are so excited to show you our newest wedding cake! We made this very special wedding cake for our very dear friends who got married today!!!! We were so excited, we made 3 cakes!!! In addition to the main wedding cake we made a grooms cake which is his favorite type of cake strawberry shortcake, as well as a traditional French wedding cake called a Croquembouche, covered completely in delicious cream puffs and spun sugar 😉😉 Congratulations Jeremy & Maaike! Happy Saturday cakeeaters!!! We hope that you are having an amazing weekend and staying out of the hot hot heat!!! 😉 we got to work on a very special "Barbie" themed birthday cake today! This is our signature strawberry cake made with real strawberries , vanilla Italian buttercream and as always our very own homemade marshmallow fondant (none of that nasty pre-made stuff nobody likes here 😉😉).
