What started as a joke in 2009 turned into a hobby, turned into a passion, and with the encouragement of some dear friends, we turned into a business. We are passionate about our customer service, passionate about our art, and passionate about what goes into our creations. So, what does go into our creations? ORGANIC INGREDIENTS! This is something we stand behind in our home and in our business. Everything here at That Cake Place is also made from scratch. It truly does make a difference, and if we can’t make it from scratch we don’t offer it.

*Cakes, cupcakes, cupcake cakes, and cake pops* We honor requests for something basic to bring to Sunday brunch to elaborate creations for any occasion. Our flavor choices are endless, and we will accommodate any combination you choose to put together (if we think it’ll be gross we’ll tell you).

We accommodate weddings, birthdays, showers, special events, holidays, just because, and charity donations per availability.

Custom orders are our favorite! Don’t be afraid to throw any request our way; we really enjoy a good challenge. Our owner will carefully listen to your request, work with your every detail - every step of the way, give advice on flavor or design improvements, provide a sketch of your request if necessary (even though she’s not the greatest pencil artist), and take pride in delivering the cake you’ve envisioned.

Pricing is generally per serving, but can vary depending on the detail of your design, the method used to create your design , and sometimes by the flavor of your cake. You will receive an approximate quote up front, and an exact quote upon completion of the details of your perspective order.

We honor requests for vegan orders. We also offer partial diabetic cakes...the cake can be made diabetic, the icing can not as we have yet to come up with an icing that doesn’t fall flat. At this time we do not offer gluten free products...we have done a few, but we are still modifying our recipe.

Please allow at least 3-4 weeks notice for placing an order other than wedding orders. We appreciate at least 6 months or more for wedding orders. There are times where we can honor last minute orders, don’t hesitate to ask as we understand things happen and plans change, but we can’t guarantee our availability. We also honor charity donations if we are available at the time of your event. Charity orders must be picked up unless we are attending the event.

We will deliver your cake within a 10 miles radius, unless your cake is going to a venue. Venue delivery is based on mileage, and we like to keep our distance within an hour each way.
