I’d love nothing more than to spend all my time for the next three weeks decorating gingerbread houses. I never plan the design in advance. I prefer to go with the flow. Decided about halfway through the first panel to go for a sort of Art-Deco inspiration. Can you guess which panel I decorated first?

Very rarely will I do fondant.... and I’m not usually too keen on kids’ birthday cakes. BUT.... when the forecast is for the 90s you do fondant.... and when the kid is MY kid.... I am honored to make the cake. Wishing my sweet Lorelei a very happy 8th!
