Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and this year we are featuring a pretty special dessert. The Paris Brest: A classic French Pastry invented by a Parisian pastry Chef to commemorate a famous bicycle race in 1891. It’s a choux pastry (shaped like a round eclair), meant to resemble a bicycle wheel. In our version, the Paris Brest is filled with our Hungarian chocolate mousse and decorated with roasted hazelnuts and drizzled chocolate. Not to be missed!

‼️New staff favorite : Pane Siciliano is a sourdough semolina bread that’s covered in sesame seeds. The kind of bread that makes you dream about tomato & mayo sanwiches in the summer. In the shop every Wednesday from now until the foreseeable future. Come give it a try 😉

Torta Della Nonna - our new favorite 🌹 A traditional Tuscan tart made with a Pasta Frolla crust, filled with Italian pastry cream and then topped with slivered toasted almonds and powered sugar.
It’s one of those special things you rarely find outside of Florence, so we are over the moon to finally have it at the bakery. Perfect for breakfast or dessert, with espresso or wine. Available now on Thursdays and Fridays… and it’s on our Easter Menu!

Irish season at Crossroads is here! Not everyone knows but we go all out for St. Patrick’s Day at the bakery. We have some of our favorite recipes on this menu, including the Irish Whiskey Cake (we infuse Jamison into a frosting), and the Prune Cognac Ginger Cake- a spiced dark bunt cake that is heaven with a bit of vanilla ice cream. We will of course have both Irish Soda and Irish Brown Bread, Irish Potato Sacks and much more ☘️Give us a call to place an order!

The Holidays are here! If you haven’t already its time to place your orders for Christmas!
We are preparing for a busy holiday so the earlier you get your order in the better. Come in to the shop or call 215 348 0828, & the full menu is on our website.

Things to Remember:
ORDER DEADLINE (projected) : Thursday December 19th
If we hit our maximum capacity for production sooner than
expected, we may have to close our books early. Always best to order as soon as possible! Grain breads and specialty rolls are always the first to go!

We will run out of bread on the 24th and other days around the holidays. Per this menu, we are streamlining our product line for the 23rd, 24th & the 31st. Please consider BUYING EARLY & FREEZING your bread, cookies, etc.

All orders for the 24th & 31st must be picked up between 10-3.

THANKSGIVING MENU IS HERE!
We are now taking orders!

We will do our best to make enough baked goods for the busiest days, but as our veteran customers know, it is best to PLACE AN ORDER, and ORDER EARLY

DEADLINE: Place your order by 5:00 pm Thursday, Nov. 21st.  ORDER PICK UP is between 10-3pm on TUESDAY Nov. 26th and 10-3pm on WEDNESDAY Nov. 27th.

To help move lines faster, we will utilize 2 lines and 2 separate doors for picking up your order. LINE 2 is for ORDER PICK UP ONLY and will be located at the double doors just to the left of the bakery bear.

HOLIDAY HOURS
We are open Wednesday Nov. 27th 7 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
We are closed Thanksgiving Day. Open Friday Nov. 29th with a limited menu. Open Saturday as usual.

Many years ago Crossroads made a Country Walnut Bread. It was a favorite among our community, with its beautiful golden crust and the famous purple coloration of the dough. Well, we have tried our hand at it again and its out on the shelves today! And it is absolutely delicious. Go pick up your favorite soft cheese and bottle of red wine for this perfect October treat.

CROSSROADS POP-UP ALERT!
The countdown is on for A Night of Song in the Big Room at Tileworks on Tuesday 4/30, a very special event hosted by Joe Montone- the unofficial mayor of the Doylestown music scene and long-time friend of the bakery. Songwriters from near and far will be at this very intimate gathering at Tileworks, featuring the touring folk duo Fellow Pynnins and Bucks County locals, Baron Tiger. So when there’s a banjo + guitar folk band coming’ thru Doylestown, we’ve got to feed them right… Crossroads Bakeshop will be there having our first pop-up shop since the Stockton Farmers’s Market days!
Adelyne & Audrey will be running the show, equipped with our classic Focaccia recipes and an array of grab and snack pastries. Chocolate Chunk cookies, Chocolate Frangelico Pound Cake, Mini Strawberry Rhubarb Pies, little Lemon Chocolate Tarts, and Lemon Blueberry Yogurt Cake slices… so if you like baked goods and folk music as much as we do, grab a ticket and join us for what is shaping up to be a beautiful evening.
