Welcome to my page, let me introduce myself!
My name is Kaitlin (Kait to friends and family) and I have always had a love for baking. Ever since I was little you could always find me in the kitchen doing anything from decorating Christmas cookies to helping stir (and taste 😉) the cake batter. Growing up in North Dakota winters can be brutal, but a fresh baked cookie and some hot chocolate could always make things warm and cozy. Fast forward and I am now a full time engineer, and part time baker living in Iowa who loves baking everything from classic treats, to incredible loaves of crusty bread.
Nothing makes me happier than baking for my friends and family. When my mom was diagnosed with Celiacs I knew I had a new challenge ahead of me - how do I make these grainy GF bakes better? If you’ve ever tried some gluten free options, you know what I’m talking about. My goal is to bring the warmth and love of real homemade baked goods to everyone. Through trial and error, and a bit of engineering I’ve come up with some great gluten free recipes that taste - just like they should ❤️.
