Here is my very first shoe box cake with a stilleto heel topper made of sugar, and a beautiful clutch bag also made of cake. This is a vanilla cake with fresh pineapple filling.

Two tier strawberry shortcake. Bottom tier is fresh strawberry filling and top tier is fresh banana filling. Decorated with beautiful white "forget me not" flowers and topped with a pair of sandals.

This is a two tier cake. The bottom tier is a 14" x 4" square Black Caribbean Cake batter also known as "Wedding Cake", covered first in Marzipan (almond paste) then in vanilla fondant. The top tier is a 9" by 4" round White Vanilla Cake with Almond Buttercream Icing. Everything, including the legs is edible. This was a particularly challengind cake because I had never done a "Black Caribbean Cake" but the client challenged me to do it and Voila. According to the reviews I received from him today, the cake was a hit.

Esta es una torta de dos niveles. El nivel inferior es de 14" x 4" cuadrado “Black Caribbean Cake también conocido como pastel de bodas” caribeño (mayormente de las islas de Jamaica, Barbado, Guyana o West Indies. Esta cubierto primeramente con mazapán (pasta de almendras) y después en la pasta de azúcar de vainilla. El nivel superior es un 9 "por 4" redondo torta blanca de vainilla con glaseado de crema de mantequilla de almendra. Todo, incluyendo las piernas es comestible. Hacer este pastel fue un desafío porque nunca había hecho un "Black Caribbean Cake", pero el cliente me desafió a hacerlo y voilá.

De acuerdo con los comentarios que el cliente me envió hoy, la torta fue un éxito.

This was a birthday cake for a man who loves playing chess, MY DAD. Everything is edible. It is a White Velvet Cake with Dulce de Leche and Guava filliing, buttercream frosting and covered in white fondant. The chess pieces and the board as well as the letters are all made of chocolate.

Este fue un bizcocho para un hombre a quien le encanta jugar ajedrez. Mi Papa. Todo se puede comer. Fuel un bizcocho de "White Velvet", relleno con dulce de leche y guayaba, cubierto en fondant blanco. La tabla de jugar ajedrez al igual que las fichas y las letras estan hechas de chocolate.
