🥖❤️ A Little Bread, A Lot of Heart ❤️🥖

Tonight, Just Loafing Around is honored to once again be a small part of something so much bigger than ourselves.

This is my second year donating a basket to Catie’s Cure, and I truly cannot put into words what an honor it is to be able to contribute to a cause that means so much to so many families. 💛

This year’s Hearth & Home Basket is filled with a little bit of everything to make home feel cozy and special—warm rosemary bread, olive oil, homemade peach jam, honey, salt, a candle, a dish towel and a bottle of w**e. And because this year’s theme is “When life gives us lemons, we squeeze out hope,” my husband is even building a little mini lemonade stand to complete it! 🍋

But the basket is about so much more than what’s inside it.

It’s about hope. It’s about community. It’s about coming together for children and families fighting childhood cancer.

And goodness, am I proud of our little town. ❤️ Watching our community rally together, give generously, and show up for such an incredible cause is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we all do our little part.

Homemade rosemary bread. I grow this rosemary at my home. I actually have 2 types of rosemary, trailing and bush types! Not much difference in flavor however. The bush variety is favored because of its flavorful leaves that are easily chopped into the dough! 🌱

Jalapeño cheddar bread, another fan favorite! This high hydration bread requires a bit more flour (as you can see) to knead and work with! Spicy 🌶️ goodness!

And I wouldn’t have her any other way, she’s the one I prayed to God for and He answered my prayers! She’s everything I’m not and more.
