Hello friends! We hope you are staying healthy! A few changes starting tomorrow at Highland Gourmet - swipe for details! We are temporarily adjusting our store hours as of April 1. We are accepting online orders only and offering pick up at our drive thru on Tuesdays and Fridays between 8am and 12noon. Orders for shipment will go out on Tuesdays! For now, our drive-thru will be closed all other days of the week.
If youâre in the Birmingham area, order your coffee and scone from one of our incredible coffeeshop partners! Innova Coffee, Baba Java Roaster & Cafe, and OHenry's. They all offer either curbside service or contactless home delivery to ensure your safety in the current environment.

This is an unprecedented time and while our daily operations always ensure the safety of our products for our customers, below are specific actions we are taking and information we consider helpful regarding our operations during the coronavirus outbreak.
⢠While we do not host dine-in customers, we are still making accommodations in the spirit of social distancing. We encourage customers to visit our drive thru, or call ahead and request curbside service. Orders can be placed on our website (highlandgourmet.com) at any time.
⢠We are closely following updates from the CDC, as well as the Alabama Department of Public Health. All team members that prepare and package our products hold ServSafeŽ Manager Certifications. This certification ensures compliance with operating procedures that promote food safety.
⢠We will continue to be vigilant in abiding by Health Department regulations for our industry: surfaces, door handles, and touch screens on our point-of-sale stations will be cleaned after each use. Hand sanitizer is available at our front-of-store checkout counter. Also of note: our facility received its most recent health inspection in February 2020 and was given a score of 99 out of 100.
⢠Ingredient sourcing has become more difficult since the national outbreak began. At this time we do not anticipate any service disruptions. Should this change, our online and in-store menus will reflect any necessary modifications.
⢠We partner with FedEx for shipping, and they are implementing measures to ensure consumer safety and minimize delivery delays. As always, once an order leaves our facility it is subject to current conditions of delivery infrastructure, and delays are possible due to factors we cannot control. FedEx may also encounter conditions that are beyond their control. It is impossible to guarantee that service disruptions will not occur.
