Due to the forecasted storms, I will not be at the Harrisonville Market this Saturday or at the winery event.

The good news? I'll be spending the weekend in the kitchen making more of the jams, jellies, and baked goods you all love so they'll be ready for next week!

The zucchini are finally rolling in, which means zucchini bread season has officially begun! 🎉

I’ll have 12 loaves with me tomorrow at the Peculiar Farmers & Artisans Market and another 12 loaves at this weekend’s events.

I’m not swimming in zucchini just yet, so once these loaves are gone, they’re gone! If zucchini bread is your favorite, come see me early and snag one before someone else beats you to it.

🍪 Chocolate Chip Sugar Cookies 🍪

If you know me, you know I am super picky, picky, picky about my baked goods. They have to taste amazing, but they also have to look just right. I’m probably my own toughest critic!

These Chocolate Chip Sugar Cookies are one of the few things I can make and know they’ll come out almost perfectly every single time. The secret? A great suggestion from a good friend to add mini chocolate chips to my sugar cookie recipe. That simple little change took an already good cookie and made it even better!

Soft, sweet, loaded with just the right amount of chocolate, and most importantly, consistent batch after batch. That’s a win in my book! 🍪❤️

Sometimes the smallest suggestions turn into the biggest improvements. Thanks, friend—you know who you are! 😊
