🤎 18 weeks. Every single weekend. And SO many loaves of bread. 🥖

As we officially wrap up our 2026 market season, we just want to say THANK YOU. Truly, from the very bottom of our hearts.

This summer has been something we never could have imagined when we started this little bakery. What began as a dream has grown leaps and bounds beyond what we ever thought was possible, and we know without a doubt that it’s because of YOU.

Thank you to everyone who got up early on Saturday mornings and came to see us. Thank you to those who stood in line, waited patiently when we were overwhelmed, tried something new, came back week after week, brought friends, shared our posts, told someone about us, and cheered us on along the way.

This summer was a BIG one for us. We pushed ourselves harder than ever and really tested what our little bakery is capable of. We learned A LOT — about baking, about business, about our capacity, and about what we want the future of Wind & Sparrow to look like. And we’ve already been making some very exciting plans for next summer! 🤎

We are so incredibly thankful that we were able to show up for every single weekend of this market season. It was a lot of work, but looking back, we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

And we’re not quite finished yet! 😉

We’ll see you in October at the Nevis Fall Market, and we’re planning to sneak in a bread drop later in October too — so keep an eye out!

Then we’ll be taking some much-needed time to slow down, rest, and enjoy some extra time with our family before we gear back up for another season.

Thank you for supporting this crazy little dream of ours. Thank you for allowing us to bake for your families. Thank you for making Wind & Sparrow what it is.

❄️ STOCK UP YOUR FREEZER FOR WINTER! 🥖🍪

With our final Park Rapids Farmers’ Market of the season coming up this Saturday, it’s a great time to grab some of your Wind & Sparrow favorites and tuck them away for later!

Sourdough freezes beautifully when it’s packaged properly. Here are a few tips:

🥖 Keep it well wrapped
Our bread is already bagged for you! For longer freezer storage, place the loaf in an additional freezer-safe bag and remove as much air as possible.

🔪 Slice before freezing
For sandwich bread, slicing it before freezing makes it easy to pull out just what you need. You can even freeze individual slices!

🏷️ Label & date
Especially if you’re stocking up on several different flavors! Sourdough is best enjoyed within about 2–3 months for the freshest quality, though it can last longer when properly packaged.

🔥 Thaw & enjoy
Whole loaves can thaw at room temperature. For that fresh-baked texture, warm the loaf in a 350°F oven for 10–15 minutes. Individual slices can go straight into the toaster!

And don’t forget — many of our other baked goods freeze wonderfully too! ❤️

Cinnamon rolls, English muffins, scones, muffins, and cookies can all be frozen so you can enjoy a little taste of Wind & Sparrow long after market season ends.
