️👋👩🍳Quick note from the baker about my pricing!
I have standard prices for all my baked goods, based on my cost, time and packaging. But you might occasionally notice something priced lower than usual on the stand. That's intentional. You see, if something doesn't meet my personal quality standard for that price point (a loaf that didn't score right, a scone that is little smaller than usual, etc.), I'll reduce the price to match what feels appropriate. Usually, I try to note why, but don't always.
Recently, I was thinking it could seem confusing to you all why one week its this price and one week it might go lower- welp its because baking is a science (or so I've learned), sourdough can be finicky (such a diva) and sometimes my batches don't come out as perfect as I'd like. I always do my best to serve the best, but if its not my best, ill always be honest and discount that baked good.
Specifically this happens most with a scones and bread, well because I can't seem to cut all my scones even, I always get a runt in the batch! Lol. And well bread, is a whole different ball game, one wrong move like forgetting to score the loaf can ruin the whole aesthetic of the loaf.
So just know, when you see my items priced at their normal full price, its because the day was blessed by the baking fairy godmothers and everything turned out right! And if you see a good priced lower one day, well Im only human and there's only so much the baking fairy godmothers can do for me. 😄
Also, sometimes I run sales or specials, and other times prices may be higher bevause fhe cost of ingredients are higher. I do try to use seasonal fruits in my goods to keep cost from getting to high.
Thank you all for your continued support! I appreciate you all!
Alright now, long note over! 👋
