I'll be there bright and early with 2 loaves of bread and waffles!

We will be open at 9am!

We are just leaving the store. Roof is sealed. Fans are going. Ceiling is drying. And shelves are back in place.

Again…I am so thankful for every single prayer and word of encouragement and offer to help. I am terrible at asking for help…but I am getting better at asking for prayer.

So thank y’all!!

She still needs some patches and some cleanup but we will be open in the morning.

Now it’s time for a shower and bed.

🧇 New Product Announcement 🧇

Since everyone has been LOVING the fresh milled bread, I figured I would add to this line with Fresh Milled Flour Waffles!

This has been my go to snack & meal for so long because it's filling, it's healthy, and it can be sweet or spicy!

Starting tomorrow (9/3) these can be found at The Barn & Basket Market in the freezer section. Perfect for toasting and maple syrup or a ham & egg sandwich. 😋

Prayers being sent up!

Y’all keep us in your prayers and we will keep you posted.

While my farmer heart is grateful for the rain…my store owner heart is a little frustrated.

We are thankful no product was damaged. But we will be closed today while we figure this out.

Raw truth…Words of encouragement would be great today…because right now I’m questioning every decision I’ve made and if all of this is actually worth it.

My heart hurts. I need to know y’all want us here as much as we want to be here. I know we serve a purpose. And I know it’s more than just another store.

And at this point I'm not sure why I post menus at the beginning of the week cause - I'm not baking muffins today. I will tomorrow though!

I have some good news - the store wasn't open yet and all the bread I baked yesterday was spoken for!

Which means I'm baking bread again today. 🥳

I'm praying for the ability to keep up with demand and stay the course. It's been made clear that Fresh Milled Flour Bread is needed in Elkhart. 🥰
